These terms apply when you use thegoodwag.com (the "Store") or buy from us. The Store is operated by The Good Wag, a UK sole trader ("we", "us"). Contact: support@thegoodwag.com.

1. Orders

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. Our contract is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has shipped. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, a price was clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we'll refund anything you've paid.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in your local currency and include any taxes and duties we're required to collect, unless stated otherwise at checkout. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Automatic discounts, such as our 2-set price, are applied in your cart. Payment is taken when you place your order.

3. Delivery

Delivery is covered by our shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates.

4. Exchanges, refunds and guarantees

Size exchanges, refunds, our 60-day "stays on or money back" promise and our Lost Boot Guarantee are set out in our refund policy. These are in addition to your legal rights, which are not affected.

5. Using the product safely

Choose the size using our size guide and check the fit before each walk. The boots are designed for walks, not all-day wear. Remove them when you get home and check your dog's paws after every walk. Keep walks short in extreme cold. If your dog has a paw injury or medical condition, ask your vet before use. Results vary from dog to dog.

6. Product information

We try to describe and show our products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly from the photos. Product descriptions are general information, not veterinary advice.

7. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory consumer rights.

8. Using the Store

You agree not to misuse the Store, for example by attempting to access it without permission, interfering with its operation, or using it for fraud. All content on the Store, including text, photos and the WagGuard™ and The Good Wag names, belongs to us or our licensors.

9. Privacy

How we use your personal information is explained in our privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in the UK, you can bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. If you live outside the UK, you may also have the benefit of mandatory consumer protection laws where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue.
